This 9,150 litre Klargester Cesspool is designed to collect, retain and store potentially harmful effluent and sewage underground. Cesspool tanks are used for domestic sewage disposal in the instance where connection to a mains sewer is not viable.  They are designed for storage only, with their contents being emptied regularly using tankers. The shallow dig design of this tank is cost-effective as it reduces the excavation depth required on site. This is compared to a traditional spherical tank, and can help to avoid issues with groundwater levels.

The tank is made from GRP which is ultra-strong, chemically resistant and watertight.
