Our delivery charges are shown in the final shopping basket and are determined by the products chosen. The charge is calculated based upon UK delivery. There may be additional charges for the Scottish Highlands and the islands as well as a surcharge for the M25. We will contact you if you are affected by this prior to processing your order. Free delivery costs
Some of our products have free delivery charges. Products that carry free delivery charges can be identified in the product information before purchase. This will also be confirmed in the shopping basket. Please note that delivery of these products to remote areas and offshore locations including Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Isles, Isle of Man and Channel Islands may incur additional delivery charges. At the final checkout stage, the estimated delivery date is displayed. Once payment is received and the order has been processed, we will also send an email update with a delivery date for when your order is due to be delivered. The actual delivery date of your order depends on the items you've ordered, distance from our headquarters, and the availability of our vehicles. If your order is needed for a specific date, please contact our sales team to let us know.
If we become aware of stock difficulties, which will affect delivery timescales, we will contact you by phone or email.
Please be aware that depending on availability of products and whether they are coming from different manufacturers some orders may be split into more than one delivery to prevent you waiting for those products that are immediately available. We will inform you by email or phone prior to them being dispatched.
Offloading and signing for your orderPlease note that we will normally request a signature to accept the delivery. We advise you to check for breakages or damaged products, or missing quantities, as once you sign for the items you accept that the order is complete. If you do find damaged products, or missing quantities, or aren't able to offload items yourself please contact us as soon as possible for us to rectify any issues with your order.
All of our delivery charges are based on the customer being available to accept the goods. This includes, on heavier items, the ability or willingness to manually offload the goods, or having mechanical offloading facilities available (such as a forklift truck). Crane-off or tail-lift facilities may be available on certain orders at an additional cost.
If we are unable to make a delivery because access is not possible, we reserve the right to make a failed delivery charge.
At Cotterill Civils, we use national carriers and national pallet distribution networks, as well as manufacturers delivery vehicles and our own fleet of vehicles.

Please inform us prior to delivery of unrestricted access. We reserve the right to refuse to make a delivery if you have not informed us prior to delivery of any access restrictions. Restricted access includes double yellow lines, a red route, narrow lanes, steep hills, low bridges, or width restricted roads.
