Shear Banded Couplings are precision-engineered for connecting and repairing pipes in UK sewer and drainage systems. Designed with a stainless steel central band for added protection, they ensure accurate joint alignment and prevent pipe displacement under shear loads — maintaining structural integrity in demanding conditions.
Each coupling features a robust EPDM body and stainless steel shear and clamp bands, fully compliant with WIS 4-41-01 and BS EN standards. With a pressure rating of 2.5 bar (36.25 psi), these couplings provide dependable, watertight performance across a wide range of pipe materials.
