Shear Banded Couplings are precision-engineered for use in UK sewer and drainage systems. Designed with a stainless steel central band for enhanced protection, they ensure secure joint alignment and prevent displacement under shear loads — maintaining system integrity even under pressure.
Each coupling is built with a durable EPDM body and stainless steel shear and clamp bands, fully compliant with WIS 4-41-01 and BS EN standards. With a pressure rating of 2.5 bar (36.25 psi), these couplings deliver dependable and long-lasting performance.
