This manhole cover is made from ductile iron, capable of withstanding a 40 tonnes test load. These manhole covers are for heavy traffic areas such as hard shoulders and carriageways.
Features:
- Manufactured to BS EN124 class D400
- Kitemarked for third party assurance of their quality
- Anti-slip technology
- Keyhole - key hole opening for easy lift and access
- Ductile iron for improved weight to strength radio
- Single seal designed - when packed with grease the cover is airtight
- Suitable for carriageway & fast-moving traffic.
- 40 tonne safe test load, works safety tested to 44 Tonnes =+10%
- Strong and durable
- Complies with Design Manual for roads & bridges Vol 4, Section 2, part 5. HA104/02
- Highways Agency, HA104/02 compliant when marked ultra
- Non rock three point suspension for stability & silent operation
