Shear Banded Couplings are meticulously engineered for use in UK sewer and drainage systems. Designed with a stainless steel central band, they provide superior joint alignment and prevent pipe displacement under shear loads — ensuring strength and stability even in demanding underground applications.
Each coupling features a durable EPDM body and stainless steel shear and clamp bands, fully compliant with WIS 4-41-01 and BS EN standards. With a pressure rating of 2.5 bar (36.25 psi), these couplings guarantee long-term watertight and reliable performance.
