This Curved Back GRC Silt Trap Inlet is designed to effectively capture and retain silt and debris, preventing blockages in drainage systems. Manufactured from high-strength Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC), this inlet provides excellent durability, longevity, and resistance to corrosion, making it ideal for highway, commercial, and industrial drainage applications.

Its curved back design accommodates pipes up to 360mm outside diameter, allowing for seamless integration into various drainage configurations. Supplied complete with a galvanised grate, this unit ensures secure coverage and efficient water flow.

Full Description

This is a one-piece moulded unit with curved back-wall which can accept pipes at any angle to the ditch line. Ideal unit for the agricultural situation with hinged sloped grating, generous silt capacity and provided with lid to prevent entry of rubbish from above.

The pipe opening is formed where required by marking the position of the pipe and then carefully knocking through with hammer and punch and opening out the hole to required diameter. Make good with cement mortar or mastic.
