How does it work?

Wrekin FasTrack Woven Geotextile is made from polypropylene tapes which are tightly woven to produce a hard-wearing, waterproof sheet which is often used in road works. The orange colour alerts current and future users of the danger of further excavation which may lead to contaminated soil bleeding into safe soil. Due to the strong weaving of the material, water can pass over easily to be directed to another source. Erosion is considerably reduced as water is sent in a different direction, and does not descend vertically into the ground. FasTrack is excellent at separating different types of soils to keep them protected and stable, which is especially important when separating dangerous types of soil. The colour of the product acts as an effective safety measure.

Main Applications

Car Parks
FasTrack woven geotextile is effective in the construction of car parks, as it has low permeability which allows rainwater to be transported to appropriate drainage systems. This as opposed to the water vertically draining into the soil which would be detrimental to its quality beneath the car park.
