The SG2 Silt Separator, part of the Silt Guardian range by Oaklands Environmental, acts as a companion to the Class 1 Bypass Separator. Designed to intercept and retain silt and sediment upstream of storm attenuation systems, it helps maintain drainage performance and protect downstream infrastructure.
Constructed from durable polyethylene, the SG2 offers a compact, lightweight, and versatile design suitable for a range of applications. It is equipped with a lightweight foam filter that efficiently captures silt particles larger than 0.3mm and holds them for easy removal during maintenance. For added reliability, the integrated filter cartridge includes an overflow channel to help prevent blockages and ensure consistent performance.
The SG2 Silt Separator is suitable for installation in drainage areas of up to 10,000m².
