Sewage Treatment Plants 

Investing in the Domestic Treatment Plants will allow you to remove contaminants from sewage and ensure that effluent water is removed effectively. Domestic Treatment Plants offer a modern alternative to other methods of sewage treatment, providing you with a convenient storage solution for water when your main supply is not available or reachable.

Septic Tanks

The main purpose of our Septic Tanks is to collect and treat wastewater in a way that’s efficient. They are generally used when a domestic dwelling isn’t connected to the main sewage system as a method for naturally processing sewage.

Our Septic Tanks are found underground and made up of two chambers. Water enters the first chamber of a Septic Tank through an inlet pipe and separates wastewater, leaving a layer of scum (grease and oil deposits) at the bottom. The wastewater then enters the second chamber and exits through an outlet pipe where it will reach a drainage field.

Septic Tanks provide an economic solution for homes and businesses of all sizes that don’t have access to mains drainage.

Cesspools

Cesspools are underground containers which provide a temporary solution for storing effluent. Depending on the location and the use of the underground containers, they will require regular inspection and maintenance. Here at Cotterill Civils, we supply the Cesspits for when there is no or limited access to main drains.

Our Cesspit tanks can also be used for areas that have unsuitable ground conditions and insufficient space available.
