Installation of a septic tank at a rural property with limited access

We’ve been installing sewage treatment solutions for almost 30 years and have built up a reputation for the quality of our service. Here’s an example of a septic tank we installed at a rural property in Warwickshire.

The property:

Belmont House is an 80-year-old house set in rural Wythall in Warwickshire. The old brick built septic tank in the rear garden was failing and the owner was becoming increasingly frustrated at having to empty it every month.

The result:

Angela Reeves, the owner of Belmont House, commented: “Cotterill Civils provided me with the best possible solution for my needs. Due to very limited access to the rear of my property, they instead installed a brand new sewage treatment plant at the far front of the drive. This was a much better solution for me as it made it much easier to access when it came to servicing and maintenance.

Cotterills carefully lifted all my rear patio area to reverse the drainage from the back of the house to the front then reinstated it all at the end. There was some very slight settlement that I had been told to expect and they are returning several months later to rectify this.

I found them to be extremely professional and very well organised. What I was especially impressed with was their after-sales service. I confidently recommend them to others. Their service was exemplary.”
