1500mm Wide Wall Concrete Ring w/ Double Step Irons

This 1500mm concrete ring w/ double step irons is manufactured by FP McCann from strong, robust concrete and has been designed with a tongue and groove dimension to accommodate the use of bituminous sealant. Chambers built with these rings require no additional concrete surround. They are made for the quick and easy construction of a manhole access chamber to sewage and drainage systems.

FP McCann’s approved sealant should be used at all times. The sealant requirement for wide wall manholes is 12mm x 120mm x 6m. When placing the sealing strip into position during installation, the ends of the strips must be overlapped by a minimum of 30mm and cut at an angle of 60 degree. The cut ends must then be pressed together.

Please note: Wide Wall Manhole Chambers are manufactured with 3 x 45mm diameter lifting points to facilitate the safe anchor lifting system (spherical head lifting system).

Manufacturer’s Advice: For safety reasons, all chamber sections are loaded and delivered chimney fashion. When offloaded, they should never be stored on their side (on the roll), but should always be laid flat.
