The Challenge
Mendip Golf Club, situated near Wells, is widely regarded as one of the best golf clubs in Somerset. They contacted us because they were experiencing issues with their existing galvanised steel water tank and wanted our specialist help. The tank was used to irrigate their nine-hole golf course, and upon inspection, we discovered that the tank’s liner was leaking.
The Solution
The only way to fix the liner was to dismantle the entire tank — an expensive option. Instead, we recommended installing a brand new galvanised steel water tank. This approach was more cost-effective and, by installing the new tank on the existing concrete pad, we were able to connect the existing inlets and outlets, saving further costs.
Once our recommendation was approved, our specialist installation team deconstructed the old tank and installed the new one efficiently on the existing base.
