110mm Coupler
Couplings, or connectors as they are sometimes referred to, are used to join two pipes together. If the pipe has been cut to length it should be chamfered and lubricated prior to insertion into the connector to ensure the best possible seal.
This connector has a centre stop, which means that it cannot be slid along a pipe – it is used predominantly when laying new drains. If you are repairing or replacing a section of broken pipe, it is easier to use a slip coupling which does not have the centre stop. This enables the slip coupling to be inserted completely onto one of the lengths of pipe and then moved back into position to make the join when the new section of pipe is lowered into position.
