Full Description

Application:
Specifically designed for the catchment and removal of silt and dirt from vehicle wash areas before entering a surface water storage system.

How it works:
The water from the vehicle wash area enters the unit from the surface via a 600mm x 600mm, D400 grating, which is supplied with the unit. Silt and dirt from the vehicles, being heavier than the water, drop to the base of the washceptor. Hydrocarbons that may wash off the vehicles, being lighter than water will settle at the top of the unit and the dip leg on the unit, prevents the hydrocarbons passing straight through to the downstream drainage sytem.
